Privacy Policy

Who we are
Powerup America is operated by Operation Flow AI, LLC ("we", "us"). We run the trade career quiz at powerup-america.com and the @powerup.america Instagram account. Questions and requests: powerupamerica1@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Quiz answers: your 12 answers, whether you told us you are 18 or older, and when you want to start.
- ZIP code and state: so we can show programs near you. We work out the state from your ZIP on your device.
- Contact details you choose to give: first name and email (to unlock your full results on the site and send occasional updates), and optionally last name, phone number, and Instagram handle.
- Consent records: the date and time you gave each consent, the version of the wording you saw, and the page you were on.
- Basic analytics: which screens were viewed and which buttons were tapped, with no names, emails, or phone numbers attached. See "Analytics" below.
- Traffic source: campaign tags in the link you tapped (for example "instagram").
Who we do not collect from
If you tell us you are under 18, or that you are outside the United States, you still get your quiz result, but we never show you a signup form and we do not send any of your details anywhere. Nothing leaves your device.
Why we use it
- To unlock your full results on the site and to email you occasional trade career updates. Results are shown on the site, not emailed. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- If you separately tick the text message box, to text you trade career updates. Reply STOP at any time to stop.
- If you separately tick the school sharing box, to share your name, contact details, state, and top trade matches with trade schools and training programs near you so they can contact you about enrollment. We do not do this unless you tick that box.
- To understand how the quiz is used and improve it.
We never sell your information. The only sharing with third parties for their own purposes is the school sharing you opt in to above.
Where your data is stored
- Kit (kit.com), our email platform, stores your contact details, quiz results, and consent records.
- Netlify hosts the website and the small function that sends your form to Kit. Netlify may keep standard server logs for a short time.
- Your quiz progress is kept in your browser's session storage only until you close the tab.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count screen views and button taps. We do not send names, emails, phone numbers, or ZIP codes to analytics. You can block analytics with a browser extension or your browser's tracking protection without affecting the quiz.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from email: tap the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Stop texts: reply STOP to any text. Reply HELP for help.
- Withdraw school sharing consent, access, correct, or delete your data: email powerupamerica1@gmail.com and we will act within 30 days.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be announced on the site.
